In 2014 Courtney’s Quest had it’s first official event, and thanks to all of you it went amazing!
We had a short time to prepare this year: from the announcement, sending out invitations, collecting ticket money and donations, it was a fast month of preparation! We had no idea that the response was going to be so overwhelmingly positive; with your help we exceeded our Gala Goal of $50,000 by over $10,000 for a grand total of well over $60,000.
The evening was a spectacular success with several memorable highlights. The silent and live auctions had everybody in the mood to open their wallets, with silent auction prizes ranging from $50 spa packages all the way up to multi-thousand dollar trip packages and the live auction creating a huge stir with a professional auctioneer and amazing trip deals. Being connected to so many sponsors allowed us to offer something for everyone, even three autographed Stan Lee posters went out the door!
Throughout the evening, professional photographers captured the event, both in the moment and also with a designated area for proper red-carpet shots. Check out all the food, fun, and outfits over in the gallery section, try and locate yourself if you were involved!
We’d like to take this moment to also let you know about the 2015 Courtney’s Quest Gala, which tickets will be available for soon! Since last year’s event was such a success, we’ll be increasing the ticket quantities, as well as upgrading our venue to accommodate.
